Mission Statement
Diary of a Lucky Cat was created with the intention of providing deeper insight into the behaviors and personalities of adoptable cats. Here you will find diaries of "Lucky Cats" that are under our foster care. You will get to know their likes and dislikes and track their development. Adopting a cat from a pet store can be a somewhat limiting experience. Some cats can become very nervous in public settings and therefore give off the wrong impressions. Cats that struggle in public places may fair better within foster care, where their personalities can blossom. This blog can give you a greater sense of a cat's personality and whether it would be a good fit for you and your family. For those of you who are strictly interested in foster care, this blog will also serve as an educational resource as to the trials and tribulations of foster parenting. Fact and care sheets will be available in the near future as well as a links page to valuable resources.
The cat(s) featured on this blog (other than our resident cat) are fostered from Animal Aide of St. Thomas - Elgin. If you would like to learn more about Animal Aide please visit their site here. If you would like to see the cats available for adoption within our foster care please visit The Lucky Cats page.
